Kim Trotechaud-Allen
Certified Orthotist
Kim Trotechaud-Allen is a Certified Orthotist with over 40 years of experience in orthotic and bracing care, including more than 16 years working within a multidisciplinary foot, wound, and limb preservation clinic in London, Ontario.
Areas of Expertise:
• Limb preservation and offloading
• Custom orthotics and bracing
• AFOs and CROW walkers
• Custom compressed felt offloading
• Compression assessment and therapy
• Complex limb preservation and mobility support
• Upper and lower extremity bracing
• Custom torso bracing, including scoliosis management
Her work focuses on pressure redistribution, mobility support, and individualized orthotic solutions designed to prevent wounds, support healing, improve function, and help patients maintain independence and avoid complications whenever possible.
In addition to lower limb preservation, Kim has extensive experience providing individualized bracing solutions for a wide range of musculoskeletal and mobility needs, including upper and lower extremity bracing and custom torso bracing for conditions such as scoliosis.

Jennifer Dresser
Jennifer Dresser is an Advanced Practice Foot & Wound Care Nurse with more than 30 years of healthcare experience spanning acute care, community nursing, education, and specialized wound management. She holds a Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Healthcare Practice (Wound Healing) from Western University and Basic and Advanced Footcare for Nursing from Fanshawe College. She is passionate about collaborative, patient-centred care that helps individuals heal wounds, preserve mobility, and prevent complications.

• Diabetic foot ulcer management and limb preservation
• Edema and compression therapy
• Offloading and pressure redistribution strategies

In addition to working in diverse health care settings, Jennifer has held the role of Implementation Facilitator for the Middlesex-London Ontario Health Team Lower Limb Preservation Project and currently also works as an Advanced Practice Foot and Wound Care Nurse with the Indigenous led Lower Limb Preservation Project. Her passion lies in bringing together patients, providers, and community partners to improve access to coordinated, evidence-informed wound and lower limb care.
Through London Diabetes Foot Clinic, Jennifer is committed to helping individuals heal, preserve function, and reduce the risk of preventable complications and lower limb amputations.
Lynda Cottrill
Advanced Foot & Wound Specialist Nurse | RN, BScN, NSWOC, WOCC(C), IIWCC
Lynda Cottrill is an Advanced Foot & Wound Specialist Nurse with nearly 30 years of experience in hospital care, home care, specialty clinics, and long-term care settings.
She holds a tri-specialty certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (NSWOC–WOCC(C)) and has completed advanced professional education in wound management, including the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course, Foot Management in Diabetes, and the Advanced Debridement Course. In addition to the London Diabetes Foot Clinic, she also provides foot and wound care services as an independent practitioner for long term care homes and an indigenous health center.
